- To fry eggs in an enamel pan, you need butter or oil, but not too high a temperature. The best way to test this is to put a drop of the egg mixture into the omelette pan. It should not shrink immediately, otherwise the pan is too hot. If nothing happens, the pan is too cold. The pan is only at the optimal temperature when the drop solidifies slightly. Now pour in the entire mixture, reduce the heat a little, as enamel stores the heat, and wait until the omelette easily comes away from the bottom of the pan. Only then should you turn the omelette over.

That's why we look at whether you can save resources such as energy, water or materials with the product. It is also important to us whether a product is repairable, durable and/or refillable.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable materials criteria and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable materials. Sustainability starts with the materials. That's why, when evaluating this criterion, we look closely at whether the product is made of natural or recycled or recyclable materials and whether it is petroleum- or plastic-free. We also pay attention to whether the materials are grown locally and organically.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing criteria, making it particularly sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified plants or palm oil. We also examine whether it is produced locally and in a CO2-neutral manner. We also check whether social sustainability, such as fair pay, is taken into account during production.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our features for comprehensive recyclability and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into the biological and technical cycle.
