Description
This CLASSIC pastel enamel frying and baking pan with its typical two handles brings back memories of many people's wonderful Grandma's delicious Buchteln (Austrian for oven-baked noodles) or the Sunday roast pork from the "Bratenreindl" (Austrian term for cookware).
This baking pan or roasting pan – depending on the occasion – really has it all. It is a real all-rounder for everything you want to bake, roast or gratinate in the oven and then serve and cut straight at the table, and is easy to clean afterwards.
Enamel is a material made of iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. it is made of natural raw materials. Thanks to the iron core, these enamel baking and roasting tins conduct heat quickly and store it perfectly: for sustainable, energy-saving and even roasting or baking.
The smooth, non-porous glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. It is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and is also easy to clean. When used properly and cared for properly, enamelware will last for a long time and retain its typical shine.
Riess is today the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grid as green electricity.

This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable packaging features and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable packaging. The packaging of a product has a major impact on the environment. If the product has packaging, we therefore carefully check whether it is made from recycled materials and/or is itself recyclable. Plastic-free packaging and packaging that can be returned to a reusable system or that stands out due to its particularly intelligent and sustainable packaging design perform better with us.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our features for environmentally friendly use and is therefore particularly sustainable. A product also has an impact on the environment during use. That's why we look at whether you can save resources such as energy, water or materials with the product. It is also important to us whether a product is repairable, durable and/or refillable.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable materials criteria and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable materials. Sustainability starts with the materials. That's why, when evaluating this criterion, we look closely at whether the product is made of natural or recycled or recyclable materials and whether it is petroleum- or plastic-free. We also pay attention to whether the materials are grown locally and organically.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing criteria, making it particularly sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified plants or palm oil. We also examine whether it is produced locally and in a CO2-neutral manner. We also check whether social sustainability, such as fair pay, is taken into account during production.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our features for comprehensive recyclability and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into the biological and technical cycle. It is important here whether a product is recyclable, biodegradable or compostable industrially or at home. We also view it positively if the manufacturer offers a return system for the product and returns it back into the cycle themselves.
