Description
The Riess baking enamel egg and serving pan 22 cm is the ideal pan for perfect egg dishes such as omelettes and scrambled eggs. With its striking light blue exterior and classic anthracite interior, this enamel pan combines style and functionality. The 22 cm diameter is perfect for preparing and serving delicious egg creations. The pan has two handles for easy handling and a specially designed spout for effortless serving.
Thanks to the iron core, the pan offers excellent heat distribution, allowing you to precisely control the temperature so that delicate eggs do not overheat. It is heat-resistant up to 450°C and suitable for all types of stoves, including induction and open fire. The enamel surface is cut and scratch-resistant, antibacterial and aroma-neutral, which ensures a hygienic cooking environment. The pan is also oven-proof and easy to clean. Produced CO2-neutrally in Austria, this pan is an environmentally friendly choice for sustainable cooking. Ideal for the stove and the oven, it can even be used as a small baking pan for quiches and tarte tatin.

- To fry eggs in an enamel pan, you need butter or oil, but not too high a temperature. The best way to test this is to put a drop of the egg mixture into the egg and serving pan. It should not shrink immediately, otherwise the pan is too hot. If nothing happens, the pan is too cold. The pan is only at the optimal temperature when the drop solidifies slightly. Now pour in the entire mixture, reduce the heat a little, as enamel stores the heat, and wait until the omelette comes away easily from the bottom of the pan. Only then should you turn the omelette over.

This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable packaging features and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable packaging. The packaging of a product has a major impact on the environment. If the product has packaging, we therefore carefully check whether it is made from recycled materials and/or is itself recyclable. Plastic-free packaging and packaging that can be returned to a reusable system or that stands out due to its particularly intelligent and sustainable packaging design perform better with us.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our features for environmentally friendly use and is therefore particularly sustainable. A product also has an impact on the environment during use. That's why we look at whether you can save resources such as energy, water or materials with the product. It is also important to us whether a product is repairable, durable and/or refillable.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable materials criteria and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable materials. Sustainability starts with the materials. That's why, when evaluating this criterion, we look closely at whether the product is made of natural or recycled or recyclable materials and whether it is petroleum- or plastic-free. We also pay attention to whether the materials are grown locally and organically.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing criteria, making it particularly sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified plants or palm oil. We also examine whether it is produced locally and in a CO2-neutral manner. We also check whether social sustainability, such as fair pay, is taken into account during production.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our features for comprehensive recyclability and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into the biological and technical cycle. It is important here whether a product is recyclable, biodegradable or compostable industrially or at home. We also view it positively if the manufacturer offers a return system for the product and returns it back into the cycle themselves.
