Description
Aromapots are cooking pots from the design studio dottings. They were deliberately designed to be timeless and simple. An Aromapot is white on the inside so that the food shows its natural nuances. The outside of the pot is colored depending on your appetite (Pure White, Light Grey, Slow Green) and encourages you to arrange your cookware and food in an individual way.
The Aromapots are made of 100% steel and enamel and are equally suitable as a cooking pot, soup pot and casserole dish. An Aromapot has no screwed-on plastic parts. The pots can therefore be used on or in any stove or oven at high temperatures. To ensure that the material can expand evenly and that the enamel glaze does not chip, we recommend never heating the pot when it is empty and always at a low heat; the temperature can be increased after a short time.
The conical shape of the Aromapots makes the series stackable - inside and on top of each other - thus saving space. The lid, when turned over and set aside, also functions as a temporary storage space, bowl or plate for ingredients, wooden spoons, etc. Later at the table, it takes on the role of a trivet. When placed upside down on the pot, it takes up little space when stacking the pots.
This enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, glass ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking. The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. This is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and is also easy to clean. If used properly and cared for correctly, enamelware will give you long-lasting pleasure and retain its typical shine. Enamelware is recommended for people who are allergic to nickel.
Riess is today the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grid as green electricity.
We have Riess Aromapots pot with lid in 3 strong colors: white, light gray and green.

This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable materials criteria and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable materials. Sustainability starts with the materials. That's why, when evaluating this criterion, we look closely at whether the product is made of natural or recycled or recyclable materials and whether it is petroleum- or plastic-free. We also pay attention to whether the materials are grown locally and organically.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing criteria, making it particularly sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified plants or palm oil. We also examine whether it is produced locally and in a CO2-neutral manner. We also check whether social sustainability, such as fair pay, is taken into account during production.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our features for comprehensive recyclability and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into the biological and technical cycle. It is important here whether a product is recyclable, biodegradable or compostable industrially or at home. We also view it positively if the manufacturer offers a return system for the product and returns it back into the cycle themselves.
