Description
Sachertorte, Linzer cake, Malakoff cake... all these and many other delicious cakes can be made in the round CLASSIC enamel cake tin. The removable base of the tin is easy to place in the edge and can be pushed up slightly after baking to remove the cake from the tin.
The round enamel cake tin is robust, durable and easy to clean. The edge of the cake tin is curved - in enamel language this is called a flanged edge. The iron core distributes the heat evenly - for particularly good baking results. And cleaning is very easy thanks to the smooth, non-porous surface.
Enamel is made from iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. from natural raw materials. The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. It is odor-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and is also easy to clean. If used properly and cared for correctly, enamelware will give you years of pleasure and retain its typical shine.
Riess is today the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grid as green electricity.

- In addition to baked cakes, the mold can also be used for chilled (unbaked) cake variations.
- Always grease the enamel baking pan well and sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs before pouring in the dough. This will prevent the cake from sticking and will make it easy to remove from the pan. If the dough is rather runny, you will need to put baking paper in it to prevent the dough from running out.
- To remove the cake tin from the mold, place it on a medium-high container (smaller than the diameter of the tin) and carefully pull the edge of the cake downwards. Before doing so, use a cake spatula to loosen the cake from the edge. Click here for the video tutorial

This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable packaging features and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable packaging. The packaging of a product has a major impact on the environment. If the product has packaging, we therefore carefully check whether it is made from recycled materials and/or is itself recyclable. Plastic-free packaging and packaging that can be returned to a reusable system or that stands out due to its particularly intelligent and sustainable packaging design perform better with us.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our features for environmentally friendly use and is therefore particularly sustainable. A product also has an impact on the environment during use. That's why we look at whether you can save resources such as energy, water or materials with the product. It is also important to us whether a product is repairable, durable and/or refillable.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our sustainable materials criteria and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable materials. Sustainability starts with the materials. That's why, when evaluating this criterion, we look closely at whether the product is made of natural or recycled or recyclable materials and whether it is petroleum- or plastic-free. We also pay attention to whether the materials are grown locally and organically.
This product scores highly in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing criteria, making it particularly sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified plants or palm oil. We also examine whether it is produced locally and in a CO2-neutral manner. We also check whether social sustainability, such as fair pay, is taken into account during production.
This product scores highly in at least 25% of our features for comprehensive recyclability and therefore meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into the biological and technical cycle. It is important here whether a product is recyclable, biodegradable or compostable industrially or at home. We also view it positively if the manufacturer offers a return system for the product and returns it back into the cycle themselves.
