Everything about Taiga & Sustainability
The name Taiga refers to the huge vegetation zone of the Taiga, which is the largest contiguous forest area on earth and is infinitely important for our global ecosystem. Since the Taiga is increasingly suffering from the effects of climate change, we have deliberately chosen it as a symbol for our sustainable online shop, because the fate of the Taiga and all other ecosystems is also in our hands! With Taiga we are setting an example: Sustainability must find a permanent place, especially in the world of online shopping, and be communicated transparently to the outside world.
Taiga stands for sustainability and transparency. The basis of our shop is the sustainability criteria, according to which we examine all products carefully before you can buy them in our Taiga Eco Shop. Of course, we have minimum requirements with which we ensure that only sustainable products can be found in our eco shop. Taiga is an online shop that specializes in innovative and sustainable products that make a real impact. Our priority is to offer you, the customer, environmentally friendly and sustainable products and to help you make conscious purchasing decisions. For this reason, we have special sustainability criteria which we apply when testing our products. We want to do our part to create a more sustainable future by not only offering you sustainable alternatives, but also being 100% transparent with you.
What do the individual sustainability criteria of the Taiga Eco Rating stand for?
Our five sustainability criteria are based on the entire life cycle of our products. These include:

How are the sustainability criteria applied?
Our product scouting team takes a close look at each product before you can buy it in the Taiga Eco Shop. Our five sustainability criteria are used to check in which areas the product scores points in terms of sustainability.
A small example:
Our criterion for Sustainable Materials is made up of various sub-criteria. One of these focuses on whether the materials for the product are grown locally. If this is the case, the product receives a defined score for this sub-criterion.
Depending on how many points are achieved, the product can reach the level sustainable or very sustainable In order for us to finally include a product in the Taiga Shop, at least two criteria must be met as sustainable OR a criterion as very sustainable You can see the result of our calculation directly on the product page.
Why does Taiga.Green only offer sustainable products?
Taiga is committed to sustainability and wants to have a positive impact on the environment. Our goal is to raise awareness of sustainability and help you as a customer to make conscious and environmentally friendly decisions. What do the certifications and labels on a product mean?
Basically, eco labels and eco certifications provide information about product quality, which is why we attach particular importance to listing them for each of our organic products. You will also find here detailed information on the respective labels and certifications so that you know exactly what they stand for and don't have to spend a long time searching.

How can I order from the Taiga Store?
Orders can be conveniently placed via our sustainable Online Store If you have any questions about the ordering process, you can contact us at any time at ppgad@pucrs.br. We are happy to help you.
Why don't I receive a confirmation email?
You may have entered an invalid email address when registering. It is best to contact us directly ppgad@pucrs.br.
When will I receive my order and how long will shipping take?
If the products you ordered are in stock in our warehouse, your order will be dispatched within one day of receiving the order confirmation. You will normally receive your delivery within 5 working days through our shipping partner DHL. Please note, however, that the information may change depending on the workload of our shipping partners.
Where can I find the order number for my order and how can I view the status of my order?
You can find the order number for your order in the header of the order confirmation that is sent to you by email after you have placed your order. Registered customers can view orders online around the clock.
Where can I see if the item I want is currently in stock in the Taiga Shop?
The availability of the respective items is displayed in our sustainable online shop. If you still do not receive any information on taiga.green, do not hesitate to contact us directly, we will be happy to help you!
I can no longer find the product I want – what can I do?
If you can no longer find the product you are looking for, please feel free to contact us via our Contact form or by email (ppgad@pucrs.br). We will be happy to help you and inform you about sustainable alternatives or give you information about whether and when the desired product will be available again in the Taiga Store.
Can I pick up my order myself?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect your order from us yourself. However, we work closely with our shipping partners to guarantee a fast and reliable delivery of your order.
Why do we have a minimum order value?
We want to make online shopping as sustainable as possible. One of the biggest factors influencing this is the number of packages we send. We want to encourage you to shop as proactively as possible and thereby reduce the number of packages sent.

What is the average delivery time at Taiga?
The average delivery time is 2 to 4 working days from the time of your order, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
How quickly will my order be shipped from Taiga?

How can I track my delivery with Taiga?
Our shipping partner DHL will notify you by email immediately after your goods have been dispatched and provide you with a tracking number. You will also receive status updates during the delivery process from DHL
How much are the delivery costs at Taiga?
The delivery costs are always shown in your shopping cart during checkout. For deliveries to other EU countries and Switzerland, higher shipping costs may apply.
Can I pick up my order from Taiga in person?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up your order from our company.

Taiga delivers to all EU countries and Switzerland.
What happens if I am not at home at the time of delivery?
If you are not at home at the time of delivery, your order will in most cases be left with a neighbor or at a parcel shop. If you know in advance that you will not be at home at the time of delivery, you have the option of specifying an alternative delivery address or an alternative delivery time on the DHL website.

What are the return conditions for medical and hygiene products?
Medical and hygiene products can only be returned if the packaging is undamaged and the expiration date of the goods has not been exceeded.
How and when will I get my money back?
If you return an item, you will receive the amount paid back as quickly as possible, depending on the payment method you chose when ordering. Please note that the refund may take a little longer due to payment service providers.
Why are some products excluded from return?
We would like to offer our customers the opportunity to return goods in accordance with applicable legislation. However, there is no right of withdrawal for delivered goods,
